Meeting my cousins

I've met some lovely people recently and as it turns out - I'm related to some of them!

Here are a couple of pictures of us together

Passport fun

Even though we're meant to be one big happy family, it would appear that I need my own passport to travel within the EU even at the ripe old age of 4months, which I will be when I head off on my first holiday to Spain later this year.

I got Dad to take a few pictures of me but as it turns out some of my personal favourite poses are not suitable for a passport - shame.

So I ended up with this one of me doing a bit of an Elvis-lip impression, which seems to be acceptable.

I'll let you know when the passport comes through.

Pure Genius

He waits, that's what he does.

Tick followed tock followed tick followed tock...

I don't care who you are, or the fact that you're tired...

...And the fat drummer hit the beat with all his heart.

Here's to crying.

Bath time

Dad took me to the swimming baths today. Normally he just puts me in the paddling pool but today we went in the big pool. It was fab, until dad turned his attention away for a split second and my head went straight into the water. I now know that bubble bath doesnt taste very nice!

Personally I didnt want to stay in once I'd done a big wee in the pool, so I cried and mum took me out - but dad didnt seem to mind one bit and stayed in there for ages which I thought quite strange.

Routine - pah!

I've got a sneaky suspicion that mum and dad have been trying to get me into some kind of routine, so i thought I'd show them who is the boss around her and mix things up a bit. This has generally involved refusing to sleep when they think I should and crying more than usual.

I quite enjoyed seeing the look of desperation on Dads face this morning after the poor night sleep he had, but I'm not sure I can keep it up - to be honest, I'm pretty knackered myself so I might have a good nights sleep tonight and give the old man the rest he desreves - we'll see.

4 weeks today

Well to me it seems like the last 4 weeks have flown by but Mum says it seems like a long time ago that she was pushing me out!

It seems that I have been born into a rather generous world as I seem to be getting presents every day. Thanks very much for everything. I now have some fab little outfits to wear around Tynemouth.

Still not doing much other than eating, pooing and sleeping but I've been out and about recently and we were all down on the beach today enjoying the summer weather.

I've been piling the pounds on and now weigh over 10lbs. That milk is rich!

Had a great time with Granma Jackson last week and I'm looking fwd to spending some quality time with Granma/pa Head next week.

Speak to you soon.

Sleeping

Hi there,

Sorry for not posting on my blog for quite some time but I have been doing a lot of sleeping recently. I'm starting to get the hang of it and apart from eating, I'd say I spend most of the day sleeping. It appears that Dad is starting to get into the sleeping groove as well. Often he'll start off by trying to fit in with my sleeping pattern and do other hard tasks such as reading or watching TV while I'm asleep, however, he soon gives in to the power of sleep and joins me in some quality zzzzz's

As much as its lovely to share this quality time with Dad, I must say that I sleep best when left on my own and often have much better dreams. Here's a picture of me dreaming of Madona's Vogue dance routine - she's a saucy little minx isnt she!

Dad's paternity leave is almost over and I've heard him swear a couple of times about going back to work. I can understand his frustration. I get to continue with my 24hour routine of eating and sleeping and he has to give it all up to earn some pocket money for me...shame - I'd got used to the big fella being around :)
